Petition to Restore Peace in Helen

We the undersigned wish to register our complaint regarding recreational/commercial helicopter tour rides in Helen Georgia. The constant flights are a disturbance to daily life due to excessive noise and invasion of privacy. We feel that the helicopter tour business has eroded the quality of life in Helen and, if allowed to continue, will permanently affect the quality of life and enjoyment experienced in Helen and the surrounding areas for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

We ask that the City Commissioners find a way to relieve us of this nuisance and that they pass an ordinance to prohibit future helicopter tour businesses within the city limits of Helen.
